OPTIONS
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TEXT AND SCREEN COLOR
1 TEXT AND SCREEN COLOR options may be set as desired. Sample foreground
and background colors will be displayed. Any change in TEXT AND SCREEN
COLOR will be displayed instantly unless the foreground and background
colors match which will cause the following message to appear in the
MESSAGE LINE box.
Matching Colors Error
SCREEN DIMMER
1 To extend the life of your microcomputer monitor, DOS BOSS will black out
the display after 1 - 99 minutes of keyboard inactivity if this option is
selected. This option is limited to the DOS BOSS environment and only
functions when no color errors are present. The display may also be
turned off at any time by depressing the F10 Key. To turn the display
back on, depress any key.
ACTIVITY LOG
1 An ACTIVITY LOG may be generated to monitor microcomputer usage for all
activities. ACTIVITY LOG options include the following:
(A) Basic Activity Log (Activities A thru V).
(B) Expanded Activity Log.
2 EXPANDED ACTIVITY LOG options include the following in addition to
activities A thru V:
(A) Other Activity (Non Menu).
(B) Total System Activity (Non Menu and DOS BOSS).
3 An ACTIVITY IDENTIFICATION (account, project, user, etc.) may also be
logged. ACTIVITY IDENTIFICATION options include the following:
(A) Optional Identification.
(B) Required Identification.
(C) Default Activity Identification.
(D) Exclusion of Non Identified Activity.
Refer to section 6 of this manual for more information about ACTIVITY LOG
options and ACTIVITY LOG MAINTENANCE.
SOUND ON ERROR/PROMPT
1 SOUND ON ERROR/PROMPT may be enabled by selecting this option or disabled.
Enter 1 thru 5 to enable sound and select the sound frequency.

LINE FEEDS BEFORE PRINTING
1 LINE FEEDS (blank lines) may be printed before printing report data.
Depress the L Key while holding the ALT Key.
ALT L
MONITOR CONFIGURATION
1 MONITOR CONFIGURATION may be entered for expanded color options and
improved visibility of CGA text.
DATA ENTRY
1 To move between data entry fields, depress the Cursor Keys or the Enter
Key.
CURSOR UP
CURSOR DOWN or ENTER
2 Depress the Escape Key to save setup data and exit to the OPTIONS MENU.
ESC
3 Depress the F08 Key load the UTILITIES MODULE and exit to the UTILITIES
MENU.

4 Depress the Escape Key to load the MAIN MODULE and exit to the DOS BOSS
MAIN MENU
